EXPERIENCE BHO HOONG VILLAGE (2DAYS/1NIGHT)
Discover the rich traditions and ethnic heritage of Vietnam’s Central Highlands on a 2-day tour from Hoi An. Admire the mountain scenery, experience local life in the traditional Co Tu village of Bho Hoong, and trek along the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

DAY 1: HOI AN – BHO HOONG VILLAE (L,D)
8:00 Guide will meet you at your hotel, depart to Bho Hoong village which is located in the western mountainous part of Quang Nam.
9:30 Our first stop is at the home of a local Co Tu family. They welcome us into their home to enjoy a cup of tea and coffee. We will discover Co Tu traditional value by exploring a miniature museum in his house which contains hundreds of unique artefacts before we take a break at the tea plantations.
10:45 Continue the journey to the village of Bho Hoong, have a short visit at a traditional wooden tomb house which was made by a local craftsmen. He is also a person who contributed some of sculptures of Co Tu people to Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.
11:15 Arrive at Bho Hoong village, relax and enjoy a welcome drink prepared by the local before have lunch meal at Guol house.
14:15 A light village walk, guided by a local resident, allows us to explore the village and unlock its cultural secrets. After that, we are free to enjoy swimming or experience the bamboo rafting at the river.
18:00 Return the village, attend a 30 mins cooking demonstration with local people to explore Co Tu traditional cuisine.
18:30 The evening is highlighted by Co Tu dinner, traditional folk songs performance named “Hat Ly”. Afterwards, return to your stilt house where the serene setting and clear mountain air will lull you to sleep.
DAY 2: BHO HOONG – HOI AN (B, L)
7:00 In the morning, wake up to the sounds of the village coming to life. Enjoy breakfast and a hot cup of coffee as we watch the morning activities of the Co Tu, heading to the fields and preparing daily meals.
8:00 Explore different adventure treks to a hot spring located about 2km from the village, spend our time to enjoy the brocade weaving and the wicker rattan craft – the traditional craft of Co Tu people.
11:00 Come back to Bho Hoong village, check out the bungalows.
13:00 After lunch meal at the village, we depart for a drive back to Hoi An.
16:00 Arrive at Hoi An. Tour concludes.
- A jeep can carry only 2 people with guide (3 people without guide) and driver.
- Guests are advised to bring small bag during tour. There is no space on jeep to store luggage. A small surcharge will be applied in case you travel with luggage.
